Electro Rent, an industry expert in test and measurement equipment rental solutions, has announced the recent expansion of its professional services portfolio to include test equipment calibration services for customers in the U.S. and Canada.
With this new Calibration-as-a-Service (CaaS) expansion, Electro-Rent is able to offer a more comprehensive portfolio and further complement its rental services, new and used equipment sales, and asset utilization tracking services that can dramatically improve test operation efficiencies and reduce costs.
In addition, Electro Rent offers its customers the added capability to supply rental equipment backfills during calibration services, allowing for minimized downtimes, as well as improved project efficiencies and continuity.
The new CaaS product supports a wide range of product types, certifications, and calibration standards, including ANSI Z540.3 and ISO 17025. and many other additional NIST and CIPM standards. It also supports the calibrations of most RF and Microwave test equipment.
Customers can request and directly schedule CaaS using Electro Rent’s MyER online portal. The portal also allows them to track the progress of equipment under calibration, track rented and owned equipment, and store calibration documents.
Of this recent service expansion, Electro Rent CEO Mike Clark, noted, “This new CaaS offering greatly enhances our full-service portfolio, including various procurement options that reduce capital costs and optimization tools that provide valuable strategic insights.
