Evolution Measurement has released version 3.2 of its ProCap aerodynamics 3D flow measurement and visualization system, introducing new features designed to support improved data interpretation, workflow efficiency, and user control.

ProCap 3.2 Professional now includes surface flow mapping with surface projections that enable real-time visualization of measured data—such as velocity and static pressure—directly on model surfaces. This enhancement supports more in-depth analysis of flow behavior and model performance.

Evolution Measurement has released version 3.2 of its ProCap aerodynamics 3D flow measurement and visualization system.

The updated interface, developed based on user feedback, is designed to be fast, fluid, and fully interactive. It allows users to preview changes and apply reversible adjustments, streamlining the configuration process. These updates are available in both the Compact and Professional versions of the system.

Among the system’s expanded data analysis tools are adjustable transparency for model geometries and isosurfaces, along with improved streamline rendering. These updates aim to help users more easily interpret complex flow fields and optimize model placement and orientation.

ProCap 3.2 also introduces new workflow capabilities, including simplified model positioning using relative coordinates and setup cloning to replicate previous measurement templates for future use. These features are intended to save time and reduce configuration errors.

The update includes expanded support for probe and data handling. New options include active COM-port listings, user-defined thresholds for incoming data, and improved controls for appending data to stored files.

ProCap 3.2 is now available for immediate end user download. For more information, or to upgrade an existing installation, contact enquiries@evolutionmeasurement.com.
