KYOCERA AVX, industry experts in the design, development, and manufacture of advanced electronic components, is showcasing its e-mobility solutions at Electronica 2024.
The company’s exhibit at booth B4.502 will feature components designed to support high-reliability applications in e-mobility, automotive, transportation, and communications sectors.
.
KYOCERA AVX will present a variety of components for these applications, including multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC) offering low parasitics, EMI filtering, and high capacitance across multiple voltage ratings and temperature ranges. Also featured are high-reliability tantalum capacitors, including the industry’s believed smallest known available case sizes and lowest DCL MnO2 solid tantalum technologies.
The company will showcase solid electrolytic polymer capacitors that are lead- and halogen-free, offering stable, high capacitance, low-ESR performance. These capacitors are some of the smallest, highest-voltage, and most reliable available.
KYOCERA AVX’s sensor solutions, engineered to meet global automotive standards, will also be on display. These sensors optimize engine performance, emissions control, and safety systems like ADAS.
Other components include the industry’s first known dual-entry card-edge connectors, providing low above-board height profiles, and crystal devices designed for IoT applications, such as smart entry and ADAS systems. The crystal units, like the CT2016RS Series, offer low ESR and temperature stability, while the oscillators support noise-sensitive applications.
In addition, the company will feature SAW filters for frequency control in automotive electronics, and a range of RF and microwave components for communications and telematics systems, including capacitors, inductors, and diplexers.
KYOCERA AVX’s antennas, including embedded automotive broadband and ultra-small automotive corner chip antennas, are rigorously tested to AEC-Q200 standards.
For power applications, KYOCERA AVX will present film capacitors with controlled self-healing capabilities, ideal for power electronics with voltage ratings from 75V to 100kV. The company will also highlight supercapacitors, which combine high pulse power and capacitance densities, suitable for energy storage and release in quick bursts.
KYOCERA AVX’s LiDAR components, critical for autonomous vehicles and industrial applications, ensure the precision and reliability needed for effective obstacle detection and environmental mapping in real-time.
