PCB Piezotronics has announced the global market introduction of their new Endevco Model 7330 triaxial angular rate sensor.
This piezoresistive angular rate sensor is designed to provide reliable, repeatable and accurate measurements of angular and rotational velocity within demanding environments.
Design of the Model 7330 triaxial angular rate sensor combines PCB’s own unique silicon MEMS gyroscope technology together with custom electronics. Its compact and lightweight package design, weighing less than 10 grams, provides reliable sensing performance, even under conditions where excessive shock and vibration may be present.
The Model 7330 is available in seven unique full-scale angular rate ranges of ±100, ±500, ±1500, ±6000, ±8000, ±12000 and ±18000 deg/sec, with a full-scale voltage output of ±2V. The sensor operates with 5V to 16V input.
While designed primarily for use in automotive rollover and safety testing applications, the Endevco Model 7330 triaxial angular rate sensor equally excels in a variety of shock and vibratory motion applications, including helmet, sports, and aerospace testing.
